Thank you for being part of this before it was anything.
You didn't just download an app. You handed us pieces of a life you didn't have to trust us with. So here's the truth, from us, before anyone else hears it.
Every night you opened this hoping, you taught us something no data ever could.
What you shared, what you waited for, what you were honest about even when it was hard. All of it shaped the thing we're building now. This isn't us guessing what you need. It's us finally listening properly.
So we built it again. Properly, this time.
An application, not a signup. A person reading you, not an algorithm sorting you. A membership, not a free account nobody had to choose to be in.
HumansHere is becoming an exclusive community. We mean that the way it sounds.
This is for the misfits. The curious ones. The never-boring ones.
People who notice things. Who care about their own life, and about someone else's, with the same seriousness. Not a type. Not a resume line. Just the ones who've always felt a little too much about all of it, and stopped apologising for it.
Single. Divorced. A single parent. Queer. Polyamorous. Starting over. Starting for the first time. Whoever you are, we want to find your person. On your terms. Always.
Because love in this country was never one thing. It's every colour we have. That's what we want this room to hold.
In a city of millions, maybe one or two people are actually yours. Finding them properly takes starting somewhere specific. We're starting in Mumbai.
We know most of you aren't. That's the real part of this.
Nothing you shared with us is going anywhere. It's kept safe, never sold, never handed to anyone. When HumansHere reaches your city, you hear before almost anyone does.
And if you'd rather not wait, that's entirely fair. This isn't asking for patience. It's just where we honestly are.
While we finish this: if you're already talking to someone, go meet them. Take it offline. Don't wait on us. Real life has never needed our permission.
Then this is for you.
Applications open 15 September. Everyone goes through the same door. The people who were here first, the people who paid, all of you, same as anyone new.
Read what we're building →This was never about a bigger app. It was about a bigger responsibility, to you, and to whoever you're still hoping to meet.
We started HumansHere because people we love had quietly stopped believing they'd find someone. You reminded us why that was worth getting exactly right.
If you know someone in Mumbai whose love life deserves a little celebrating, send them our way. Let's make love a little more possible. Everywhere. Every day. For everyone.
